Our community is important to us; and as such, each of our advisers spends part of their free time contributing to the lives of others by way of several organizations.

ElderFriends Logo Since 2005, Larry Mitchell has served on the Board of Directors of the ELDERfriends Foundation, a subsidiary of the Area Agency on Aging. The Area Agency and ELDERfriends serve the needs of the elderly and provide support to those who are involved in elder services organizations. They provide services which include, but are not limited to, shelters for abused elders, medical treatment facilities, caregiver respite programs, as well as programs to provide direct financial aid to the poor among the elderly population.

Since 2007, Jeremy Mitchell has been an active member of the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). The Civil Air Patrol is a congressionally-chartered, charitable corporation dedicated to public service by fulfilling three primary missions: Search and Rescue Operations, Aerospace Education, and Cadet Programs. Jeremy currently serves as a Mission Transport Pilot and as Safety Officer for the Glendale Composite Squadron operating out of Glendale Municipal Airport.

Since 2008, Jeremy Mitchell has been involved as a volunteer pilot with Flights For Life (FFL). FFL is an Arizona-based charitable organization that works closely with United Blood Services to provide blood and platelet transport throughout the state of Arizona. All flights are pilot-funded and flown by experienced, volunteer pilots.
